The Dunlop SX 300 2022 is a baseline-oriented frame built around topspin and power, repeatedly framed as a lower-priced Babolat Pure Aero alternative that is similar in the hand and design but a touch more maneuverable. Spin comes readily, with abundant RPMs off the string bed and an open 16x19 pattern that carries topspin shots deep, though full racquet acceleration is required or the ball strays long. Power is generous and lively, extending to volleys and overhead smashes. The frame is fast and easy to swing, generating racquet head speed without much effort, and is broadly comfortable thanks to its vibration dampening. Most found it stable through groundstrokes and at the net, though a minority reported it twisting in hand. Control divided reviewers: one camp found the ball sailing long on flatter shots, while another found it more controllable than most spin-forward racquets. On serve, slice and kick come easily, but flat serves are the weak point and demand acceleration. Impressions of at-contact feel did not converge.
